WHAT IS NUTRITIONAL THERAPY?
Nutritional Therapy is the evidence based application of nutrition science with the purpose of maximising health. It is aimed at both individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their overall health and well-being.
Naturopathic Nutritionists study biomedicine, biochemistry and pathophysiology in the context of health, illness and how food and nutrients interact with the body. They are trained to identify where imbalances originate in the body, which can be the root cause of many chronic ailments, and how the functionality of specific nutrients can restore or enhance health and wellbeing.
ABOUT ME
My career began in the financial services industry working with investment structures and tax compliance. I took my health for granted until I experienced a perfect storm of health events which lead to years of going from doctor to doctor, struggling to get through each day.
When I finally received multiple diagnoses I spent countless hours researching these conditions and ultimately built my health back, slowly but surely, using food at my medicine.
Following this I had a complete career change and spent 3 years studying naturopathic nutrition; this also included aspects of orthomolecular compounds, Traditional Chinese Medicine, herbal medicine and tissue salts.
I’m now a qualified nutritionist and have dedicated my career to helping individuals better their lives through personalised evidence-based nutrition plans. I have a particular interest in auto-immune disease, chronic fatigue, and paediatric health.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Nutritional Therapy utilises the healing power of food, supplements and lifestyle recommendations to target the cause of health concerns, rather than addressing the symptoms. It is a comprehensive approach which considers the whole person, rather than specific organs or bodily systems.
The primary focus of nutritional therapy is ‘Food as Medicine’.
